E-LANE Methodology

The E-LANE project offers a methodological guide to develop educational material. This guide not only provide practical bias for content creation, but it also focus on its dynamical evolution including the reuse, upgrade and improvement suggestions based on previous experience.

This methodology takes into account the transformation that educational material could suffer during its useful life. From the planning stage, throughout classes given, analysis and diagnosis of pedagogical problems and materials, until improvements proposal to be included in next editions of the course. This guide offers to the teacher practical bias from several points of view: technical, pedagogical and from the perspective of a global assessment.

  • In the pedagogical dimension the guide focus on activities design taking into account the underlying pedagogical model, the student and teacher's profile and the platform.
  • In the technical dimension the methodology shows how to structure the content from a logical point of view (fragmentation), from a spatial point of view (presentation) and from a time-line point of view (sequentiation).
  • From a global assessment perspective the methodology is based on EPM model and provides practical bias to detect educational problems, diagnose their causes and propose possible solutions.
